What We Do

We create a warm and welcoming environment for you to join in meditation and spiritual growth. We welcome all faith backgrounds and respect all belief systems that follow paths of love, compassion and acceptance also called Mettā.

Our meditation sessions start with simple guided relaxation. Once our bodies are relaxed, more than when we arrived, we begin a simple relaxation of the mind exercise – mindfulness of breathing. During the practice we are constantly aware of the body and mind and continue to relax as we deepen our state of meditation. Longer periods of meditation follow the relaxation exercise. Open discussion is interspersed into the session to give everyone a chance to share their experiences and learn from others. We have a short book reading, a book pertaining to our practice and spiritual path is read in the group, giving everyone a chance to receive teachings from various sources that can be more topic for discussion.

Our meditation sessions are designed in ease for people who have little or no previous experience and also for those with a deeper practice.
